My training first started while serving in the United States Army. It is there I learned the importance of physical and mental readiness. This discipline helped me prepare for competitive natural bodybuilding as a civilian.

The road to becoming a WNBF pro-natural bodybuilder started in Sacremento, CA at the 2003 Capital City Bodybuilding Championship, where I received my WNBF pro-card after becoming the overall winner. The following year, I placed fourth in the Pro American Championship in Austin, TX. In New York, at the WNBF Pro World in November 2004, I recieved second place and finished third the following year.
